Rose L. (Barnes) Brumage

Rose L. Brumage, 93, of Zanesville, died at 8:30 P.M. Saturday, February 18, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 14, 1929 in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Charles and Rhyna Davidson Barnes. Rose loved her husband and her family very much. She was a well-known card shark and she taught her family how to lose graciously. Rose was an avid reader and she enjoyed her coffee club on Wednesdays with her friends at the Fieldhouse.

Surviving are her loving husband of 69 years, George E. Brumage, whom she married September 26, 1953; four daughters, Kathy (Thomas) Sorg, Peg (Don) Weaver, Tina (Tom) Stevens and Sue (Pat) Foraker; she leaves her life-long Legacy to her eleven grandchildren, Lisa, Jamey, Mandy, Ashley, Brent, Kyle, Carrie, Bethany, Morgan, Brett and Shawn; and 29 great grandchildren who were all special to her.

A private graveside service will be held at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville with Chaplain Tim Patton, of Genesis Hospice officiating.
