Roy E. Barker

Roy E. " Gene " Barker, Sr. 47, of Buckeye Lake died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark. He was born December 30, 1957 in Madison, WV, a son of the late Leon R. & Hazel A. Dent Barker. Surviving are his wife, Michelle L. Campfield Barker, two sons, Roy Barker Jr.and Samuel Barker, a daughter, Meagan Barker all of the home, two step-sons, Roger Smith and Brian Smith both of Zanesville, and four brothers and two sisters. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2005 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Bert Gillman and Roger Massey officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
