Rozetta May Davis, 75, of Zanesville, died at 6:22 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Rozetta was born May 2, 1936, in Zanesville, to the late William H. and Ruth L. Staffey Davis. She attended the Muskingum County Starlight Program and worked as a Bottle Capper at Star Light Workshop. She was a member of Brighton First Free Methodist Church and an avid bingo player. Surviving are four brothers, Butch (Peggy) Davis, Bill (Marlene) Davis, Charles (Phyllis) Davis, and Robert (Shirley) Davis Sr., all of Zanesville; two sisters, Jean (Virgil) Stemm and Wanda Carter, both of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; three special nieces, Stephanie LeMaster, Jennifer Founds and DeDe Smith, all of Zanesville; three special friends, Doris, Fern, and Trisha; two special caregivers, Donna and Vada; and a special nurse, Marsha. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Harry Davis; five sisters, Dorothy Davis, Hazel Cannon, Ruth Ross, Shirley Davis and Karen Hartley. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. till time of service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. A burial will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville.
