Ruby B Tewksbury

Ruby B. Tewksbury, 91, of Zanesville, died at 10:55 A.M. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 6, 1932, in Burning Springs, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Thomas and Marie (Bell) Boice. Ruby worked in the office of Waste Management. She enjoyed cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes and loved being surrounded by nature, and had a special affection for Hummingbirds.

She is survived by three grandsons, Kevin (Edie) Coleman, Matthew (Kristen) Tewksbury, and Michael (Kendra) Tewksbury; two granddaughters, Emma Tewksbury and Chrissy Tewksbury; great grandchildren, Rebecca Coleman, Erika Allbaugh-Parker, Hudson Newman, Ashe and Ember Tewksbury, Blayde, Joslen and Dravion Daugherty; great niece Kayla Riddleberger and Kathy; and her very good neighbors and special friends, Jill and T Thompson.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty-six years, Marvin L. Tewksbury, who passed away September 24, 2016; her cherished children, a daughter, Deborah Coleman; a son, Mark Tewksbury.

A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
