Russell C. Bell, 77, of Zanesville died at 8:50 P.M. Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Cedar Hill Care Center. He was born April 13, 1928 at Zanesville, a son of the late Grover and Hattie Flowers Bell. Russsell was a self-employed carpenter, building custom homes, he also worked for Conn's Potato Chip Company for 16 years, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are special friends, Glenna Simon and Tony Chandler both of Zanesville and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry & Ralph Bell, four sisters, Helen Adams, Louise Grimsley, Virginia Bain and Frances Passwatters. No calling hours will be observed, Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2005 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Roy Keyser officiating. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold full military rites at the grave. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville entrusted with all arrangements.
