Russell D. Mccormick Sr.

Russell D. McCormick, Sr., 89, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord at 12:34 A.M. Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born July 14, 1925 inZanesville, a son of the late Blaine and Hazel McCormick. He retired from Armco Steel after 37 years of service, was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and a avid camper. Russell enjoyed all types of crafts and Bingo. Surviving are two sons, James L. (Kathleen) McCormick and Russell D. (Donna) McCormick Jr.; two grandchildren, Brian (Jenn) McCormick and Lora (Bill) Rexroad ; six great grandchildren, Andrew, Cameron, Emily, Breahna, Cory and Alex. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret E. Holcomb McCormick, who died March 13, 2008; two sisters, Pauline and Mary Lou and two brothers, Angelo and Loren. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Jonathan Paugh officiating. Russell will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Margaret at Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
