Ruth L Linn

Ruth L. Linn, age 88, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 1:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2005 at the Cedar Hill Care Center. She was born March 25, 1917 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Richard Edward and Iola Maybell Turner Goff. Mrs. Linn was a secretary at the Linn-Goff TV where she retired in 1984. She was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ, a member of the Muskingum County Genealogical Society, a member of the Ohio Genealogical Society and a member of the First Families of Ohio. Surviving are two sons, Richard Lester (Vi) Linn of Toboso and Gary Lee (Lynne) Linn of Springfield. One sister, Naomi May (James) Taylor of Cape Coral, FL., and a sister in-law, Anne Goff of Zanesville. Five grandchildren, Michael and Patrick Linn and Cynthia Linn Davis, all of Newark Ohio,Karen Skoglund of Westerville, and Amy Luther of Springfield. Nine great grandchildren, Coty Linn, Michael Linn, Morgan Linn,David Linn, Kelly Davis and Ashley Davis, Jenna Skoglund, Jessica Skoglund, Cameron, Casey, and Cecilia Luther. One great great granddaughter, Alaina Watson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Vern Linn,(June 14, 1997)and a brother Richard Turner Goff. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2005 with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
