Ruth M. Minosky

Ruth M. Minosky, 88, originally of Zanesville, went to heaven to be reunited with the love of her life for 43 years, John Minosky, on Monday, June 10, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Spring Branch, Texas. Ruth was born September 15, 1935, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Denzil and Margaret Roberts. Ruth always had at least one job and sometimes multiple jobs. She retired from Halliburton Services after many years and then went right back to work at Adams Brothers, then she went to work at Green Valley Golf Course. She was loved and valued at every job she ever had. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing the slots, and her yearly trip to Las Vegas with her best friend Joan Goldsmith. She also enjoyed traveling with her sisters as often as possible. Ruth was a person that would reach out to anyone in need. If someone needed something she was always trying to find a way to provide it to them. She had a huge heart and loved being a bonus mom to all.

Surviving are her brother, Joe (Loretta) Roberts; her daughter, Susan (Dennis) Jendry; her sons, Mike Minosky, Brian (Kim) Minosky, Phil (Lisa) Minosky, Kevin (Theresa) Minosky, Steve (Lois) Minosky, Tim (Melanie) Minosky; as well as multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, John Minosky, she is proceeded in death by her brother, Bill Roberts; her beloved sisters, Bonita Stouder, Martha Sidwell, Teresa Shiele, Gloria James, Delores Thompson; and her son Jim Minosky.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 AM until time of service 12:00 PM on Friday, June 21, at THE BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Ruth will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband John at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Zanesville.
