Ruth E. Wright, 64, of Zanesville, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room. She was born August 27, 1944, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Elizabeth Bland James. She was a member of Moose Auxiliary #867, was an avid bingo player and gave the gift of life as an organ donor. Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Robert E. Wright Jr., whom she married February 3, 1972, of the home; two daughters, Tammy (Dave) Anders of Heath and Michelle Wright of Zanesville; two sons, David (Rose Farmer) Murray of South Zanesville and Larry Wright of Zanesville; 7 grandchildren, Aaron, Amy, Tara, Caitlin, Cole, Chelsie and Caden; a great granddaughter, Brooklyn; two sisters, Cindy Perry and Marlene (Larry) Huffman, both of Zanesville; two brothers, Glenn James and Dick (Jo) James, both of Zanesville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Bland and John James. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 at the funeral home with Elder Nathan McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
