Sally Ann Lemmon, 71, of Zanesville, died at 12:38 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2007 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 19, 1936, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert and Alice Marguerite Roach Zinsmeister. She was employed in Administration for 54 years for the Times Recorder. She was a 50 plus year member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church, Order of Easterern Star #485, Rosa Shrine #8, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Order of Amaranth Zane Court #36, American Legion Auxiliary Post #29, VFW George Selsam Post #1058 Auxiliary, FOP Ladies Auxiliary and Eagles Lodge #302 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a step daughter, Karen Sue Moore of Zanesville; two step sons, Floyd E. Lemmon Jr. and Robert (Lil) Lemmon, both of Zanesville; two sisters, Nancy (Bill) Miller of Zanesville and Judy Sexton of Johnstown, Oh.; two brothers, Robert (Marjorie) Zinsmeister od Middlefield, Ohio and John E. (Mabel) Zinsmeister of Portsmouth, Ohio; eight grandchildren, David Moore, Lori (Tom) May, Ian Hissam, Joe (Melinda) Lemmon, Jacob Hina, Robert Lemmon Jr., Tim Lemmon and Amber Lemmon.;three great grandchildren,Sarah May, Abigail Murphy and Alissa Hissam.; numerous nieces and nephews and three special angels, Jordon, Audrey and Brooklyn Wheeler. Also surviving is her pet companion, Maisey. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd. E. Lemmon who died November 25, 2006 and by a brother, William Roach Zinsmeister. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Eastern Star # 485 will hold services at the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. Monday with Eagles Lodge # 302 holding services at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the funeral home with the Rev. Skip Colvin officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Trinity United Methodist Church or to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.
