Sally Jo Woerner Seaton, 71, of South Zanesville, went to be with her Lord at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born August 4, 1939, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Carl and Betty McCoy Woerner. She retired as a wire handler for Essex Wire. She attended the South Zanesville United Methodist Church and sang country and western music at Rogers Auction Barn in Adamsville. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Rodney E. Seaton, whom she married June 12, 1970, of the home; adopted child, Shirley Starcher of Zanesville; a step sister, Carol (Rick) Blair of Midlothian, VA; a step brother, Carl J. Woerner of San Antonia, TX; two sisters-in law, Vonda Bateman of Aurora, OR and Roberta Woods of Byesville, OH; and two brothers-in-law, Roger (Marge) Seaton of Cambridge, OH and John L. Seaton of South Zanesville, OH. She was preceded in death by her father; mother; step father and step mother. Calling hours will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the South Zanesville United Methodist Church, 53 E Main St., South Zanesville, OH with Rev. Joy French officiating. Sally bequeathed her body to The Ohio State University Anatomical Donation Department to help with research.
