Samuel C. Zoller

Samuel C. Zoller, 93, of Zanesville, died at 9:20 A.M. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room, Zanesville. He was born April 6, 1927 in Zanesville, a son of the late Samuel H. and Madeline (Downey) Zoller. He graduated from Lash High School and then entered the United States Navy serving during WWII. He then attended The Ohio State University and was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. He retired from Rankin & Rankin in 1992 as president of the company and was an avid golfer winning the Club Championship at Zanesville Country Club.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Patricia M. (Sims) Zoller, whom he married June 22, 1957; two daughters, Susan (Kevin) Lasure and Karen Zoller; two grandchildren, Joshua and Tyler (Danielle) Lasure; great-grandchildren, Lincoln Samuel and Lilly Ana Lasure; a sister-in-law, Anita Allen; a niece, Abbe Allen; and a nephew, Lon Allen.

A cremation has taken place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with no calling hours or services to be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Sam may be made to Christ’s Table, 28 South 6th Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
