Sandra K. (Modesitt) Richards

Sandra Kay Richards, aged 57, died with peaceful thoughts the morning of March, 10 2015, after a brief struggle with cancer at Willow Haven Nursing Home in Zanesville, Ohio. Sandra was born May 23, 1957 in the town of Parkersburg, WV. She was the daughter of the late Glen William and Floda Francis Steed Modesitt. Sandra enjoyed time with family and friends no matter the occasion. She also enjoyed dirt track racing and Ohio State football. Sandra shared her life on earth with her best friend of 40 years Randy Gene Richards. Together they raised 3 children, JoAnne Marie, Cecil Ray and Marlaina Kay Richards. "Big Sandy" as some would know her, was also accompanied in life by 6 siblings, Sharron Sue, Glen William Junior, David Leroy Modesitt and step siblings, "Little" Sandy, Kathy and Jimmy Cottrill. Sandra also enjoyed the company of her 8 grandchildren. No calling hours or services will be observed. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
