Sandra "Sandy" S. (Wright) Douglas

Sandy Douglas, 84, of Zanesville, passed away quietly on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.  She was born May 27, 1939, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert F. and Delma L. (James) Wright. Sandra was a loving affectionate, and hardworking individual who put the needs of others ahead of her own always. After raising her family in Ohio, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she lived for 35 years. She had a successful career in banking as Vice President (BancOhio and Florida National Bank) and working for JC Penney’s. She moved back to Zanesville 7 years ago where she was an active member of Coburn United Methodist Church. Sandy loved arts and crafts, traveling on cruise ships, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children whom she loved dearly, Kelly (Mike) Brezina and Christopher Faulhaber; her grandchildren, Michael (Lisa), Matthew (Meghan), Marcus (Madison) and Mitchell; and five great grandchildren, Sophie, Camden, Vivian, Jackson and Reese.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, David L. Faulhaber and her second husband, Daniel Douglas II.

Friends and family may call Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 11:00 AM until time of Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE. ZANESVILLE with Pastor Mark Raaker officiating. Sandy will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
