Sara Rogovin Fish of Boca Raton, Fla, formerly of Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 17, 2006, following a brief illness. Sara attended The Ohio State University and worked in the scrap metal business in Cleveland during World War II, where she met her future husband, Sidney. The Fishes returned to her hometown of Cambridge, where they raised three sons and owned and operated Cambridge Iron & Metal Corporation. Sara was an avid bridge player and a consummate homemaker. She was active in Temple Beth Abraham Sisterhood and actively supported numerous Jewish charities. Sara and Sidney retired to Boca Raton, Fla. in 1989. Sara is survived by her husband and two sons, Bob, a dentist and attorney in Parkland, Fla and Larry, an ophthalmologist in Springfield and their wives, Lana and Kim and three grandchildren, Evan, Lauren and David. She was preceded in death by her middle son, Barry, her parents, Sam and Esther Rogovin and two brothers, Ted and Herman Rogovin. Internment will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2006 at Beth Abraham Cemetery in Zanesville. The family will be available to accept condolences at Temple Beth Abraham, 1740 Blue Ave. following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Temple Beth Abraham or the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, Florida.
