Sarah A. (Russell) Lee

Sarah A. (Russell) Lee, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at: 4:40 A.M. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Genesis Hospice Morrison-House, Zanesville. She was born September 7, 1941, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Raymond C. and Anna Margaret (Yahaze) Russell. Sarah worked as a Sales Representative for Mass Bingo. Sarah enjoyed watching her favorite college football team, The Ohio State Buckeyes, Nascar Races, and the NFL, with The Brown's being her favorite team. She also enjoyed going out to dinner, playing card games, but most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Stacy Dennis, who was also her caregiver; three sons, Eric Lee, Todd (Joanne) Lee, and Mike Lee; ten grandchildren with a special granddaughter, Lori (Austin) Miller; several great grandchildren with two special ones, Kasen and Bristyl Miller, in addition to another great grandchild on the way that she was excited to meet; many nieces and nephews with a very special favorite niece, Dina (Brad) Morrison.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was proceeded in death by her husband, George L Lee; a brother-in-law, Derl Lee, Kern (Linda) Lee; and her favorite sister-in-law YVonne (John) Bums.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Jason Boggs officiating. She will be laid to rest at Chandlersville Cemetery next to her beloved husband George.
