Shane Christopher Lutz, 28, of Nashport, beloved son of Christina L. Lutz, died at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his home. He was born June 23, 1982, in Zanesville. He worked for Starlight Industries. Shane was an avid basketball player for Starlight, enjoyed playing baseball for the Miracle League, was a Special Olympics Medal Winner and he loved animals and wrestling. Surviving are his mother Christina L. Lutz of Nashport; a brother, Phillip Eickelberry of Zanesville; grandmother, Nancy (Charles) Lewis of Nashport; an aunt, Catherine M. (Gregory) Smock of Zanesville; beloved cousin, Sarah C. Smock of Zanesville; and many cousins; friends and teammates; and by his two favorite pets, Keiffer and Andy. He was preceded in death by an aunt, Carole Lynn Lutz and grandfather, Robert D. Lutz. Friends and family may call from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2011 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Dawn Remster officiating.
