Sherry L Lowe

April 16, 1942 — February 19, 2016

Sherry "Sis" L. Lowe, 73, of Zanesville, died at 12:47 A. M. on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Genesis Hospice- Morrison House. She was born on April 16, 1942, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Raymond and Emma Seconds Lowe. She was a Veteran of the United States Army, worked at Brockway Glass, was a member of the Brighten Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post #29 and was on the Board of Directors for the Credit Union. She was a die-hard Ohio State fan. Surviving is one sister Cynthia (Larry) Weiser of Newark; one brother David M. (Karen) Lowe of Zanesville; three nieces, Ericka Upvall, Elyse (Matt) Luburgh, and Stacy (Mike) Slack; four nephews, Jason (Vanessa) Weiser, Slade Lowe, Jim Lowe, and Joe Lowe; and her furry friend Mandy. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by one brother Larry "Pup" Lowe; a half-brother Raymond Lowe; and her furry friend Fluff. The family would encourage everyone to wear their Ohio State attire to the calling hours, which will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016, from 2-4 P.M. at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held on Monday February 22, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park with full military honors being presented by the United States Army in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058 and American Legion Post #29.
