Shirley J. Young

Shirley J. Young, 65, of Zanesville died at 9:23 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born September 30, 1939 in Zanesville , a daughter of the late Lucille Wagstaff Winstanley and Dolph Wagstaff. She graduated from Zanesville High School Class of 1958, attended First Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Bobby D. Young, M.D., whom she married February 14, 1981, of the home, step-mother, Della Wagstaff of Zanesville, five daughters, Sandra K. ( Tom ) Lauvray of Dresden, Terri Oakley and Bobbi D. Young both of Zanesville, Dee ( Darryl ) White of Woodridge, Ill. And Marcia ( Clay ) Huebner of Marion, Ohio, three sons, M. Dean ( Teresa ) Young and Michael C. ( Neddena ) Young both of Zanesville and J. Brady Young of Lincoln, Mass., a sister, Carolyn Williams of Fairfax, VA and a brother, Ronald ( Jan ) Wagstaff of Tampa, FL., a half-brother, Randy Wagstaff of Zanesville, eighteen grandchildren, Alan ( Jennifer ) Lauvray, Kevin ( Timera ) Lauvray, Aaron Oakley, Rachel Oakley, Katy Young, Matthew Brady, Adam Young, Kay Leigh Young, Kurt Young, Garrett Young, Jordan Young, Jessica Young, Jonathon Young, Caroline Young, Andrew ( Pete ) Beardmore, Beau Huebner, Gabrielle Huebner and Juliette Laracuente, three great grandchildren, Lyndzie Lauvray, Laikyn Lauvray and Lydia Lauvray and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dolph Wagstaff, Jr. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2005 and one hour prior to services at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Bolin- Dierkes Funeral Home with Rev. Dawn Remster officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
