Stephen Edward Emerick

Stephen Edward "Tube" Emerick, 57, of Lafayette, Indiana, died at 3:05 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the St. Mary Health Care Center in Lafayette. He was born February 10, 1952, in Zanesville, a son of Edward W. Emerick of Zanesville and the late Alice E. Baughman Emerick.. He was employed as a drive specialist for Kirby Risk Electric Supply Company. Stephen was an accomplished musician who played for many local bands and also was an avid computer and electronics enthusiast. Surviving in addition to his father are four brothers, David Emerick, Rodney Emerick and Robert Emerick, all of Zanesville and Gary Emerick of Vermillion, Ohio; a sister, Rebecca Dustman of Zanesville; many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Angel. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville..
