Steven E. Lanham, 68, of Kimbolton, died at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, May 3, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 2, 1955, in Coshocton a son of the late Henry and Helen Marie (Poland) Lanham. He was a truck driver, traveling locally and over the road and was a devoted Davita patient for 14 years to Dr. Raul Hernandez. Steven proudly served our country in the United States Marines.

He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Lisa (Stubbs) Lanham, whom he married on April 14, 2016; a daughter and caretaker, Amy Jo (Nancy) Lanham; a son, Roger (Cindy) Lanham; two step daughters, Ashley (David) Franks and Megan (Brian Tackett) Stubbs; four brothers, Henry (Sharon) Lanham, Dave (Ida) Lanham, Darrell Lanham and Paul (Mary) Lanham; a sister, Edna Gardener; seven grandchildren, Latashia (Cody) Burtnett, Lisa (Chad) Wade, Kayla (Shawn) Drumheller, Paul Tarman III, Chelsea Lanham, Clarissa Lanham and Jordan Lanham; five step grandchildren, Ryan Pebbles, Ryanna Pebbles, David Franks Jr., Carter Stubbs and Brian Tackett Jr.; nine great grandchildren, Braylon Burtnett, Hunter Burtnett, Levi Burtnett, Izaiah Clevenger, Rhylee Wade, Chad Wade Jr., Brystol Wade, Mikayla Drumheller and Gavin Drumheller;  Papa’s favorite daughter in law, Daniele Eaches; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Steven is preceded in death by two sons, Steven Lanham Jr. and Ben Lanham; his brother, Duane “Dink” Lanham; two sisters, Jona Newell and Barbara Chaney; two grandchildren, Timothy Allen Tarman and Alexander Joseph Tarman; and  great granddaughter, Serenity Lanham.

Friends and family may call from 3:00 P.M. until time of service at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at BOLIN-DIERKESFUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Following the service, military honors will be accorded to him by the United Sates Marines in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29 Color Guard.

Per his wishes, Steven will be cremated and the family asks for those who are able, if you can make memorial contributions to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home to go toward his funeral expenses.
