Steven A. Zak, 67, of Zanesville, died at 11:14 P.M. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room, Zanesville. He was born December 24, 1953, in Sturgeon Bay, WI, a son of the late Martin L. and Alice M. (Franke) Zak. After high school, he went to meat cutting school. He loved to woodwork, making furniture, jewelry boxes, desks, headboards, dining sets, and hutches. He loved his Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Monica M. (Esau) Zak whom he married October 5, 1974; a son, Kevin (Rachel) Zak; a daughter, Laura (Ryan) Wells; four grandchildren, Brandon Zak, Jonathan Wells, Lincoln Zak, and Warren Zak; mother-in-law, June L. Esau; sister-in-law, Bonnie S. Zak; brothers-in-law, John and Tom Ziegler; and many nieces, nephews, and friends whom loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Judith M. Ziegler and Mary Ann Ziegler; a brother Robert M. Zak; and his father-in-law, Charles J. Esau.
A cremation will take place with no services to be held. BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE are entrusted to all arrangements.
