Sue Ann Kennedy

June 25, 1939 — June 27, 2005

Sue Ann Kennedy, age 66 of Zanesville passed away at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born June 25, 1939, Zanesville, Ohio. The daughter of the late Ray E and Juanita (Archer) Paynter. She was employed in the human resource department at The Longaberger Company, a member of the Eagle Auxillary Lodge #302, member of the Dresden Branch of the CCL, and a Boy Scout Den Mother for troop 121. Surviving her husband Benjamin F. Kennedy, whom she married July 8, 1961. Three sons, Benjamin (Martha) Kennedy III of Zanesville, Matthew P. (Sonya) Kennedy of Gahanna, Andrew D. (Vickie) Kennedy of Zanesville; two daughters, Ann E. (Al) Kennedy of Dresden and Jayna R. Kennedy of Akron; her mother-in-law Violet Kennedy of South Zanesville; two sisters, Carolyn L. (Frank) Fluharty of Zanesville and Kelly L. (Don) Riley of Zanesville; a brother, John (Brooke) Hommel of Nashport; ten grandchildren, Benjamin Kennedy IV, Mary Kennedy, Marley Kennedy, Jennifer Hina, Elizabeth Alexander, A. J. Freniere, Jordan Kennedy, Kalene Kennedy, Brandi Phalen, and Chasity Lincicome; five greatgrandchildren; three special friends, Jan and Dan Kennedy of Zanesville and Velma Miller of Zanesville; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother William R. Paynter, an uncle John William Paynter, an aunt Helen Noon, and her father-in-law, Benjamin F. Kennedy Senior. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a..m. Thursday, June 30, 2005 with Pastor Steve Neville officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Brighton Free Methodist Church, 607 Brighton Blvd, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
