Terrence A. Ryan

Terrence "Terry" Anthony Ryan of Zanesville passed away at the age of 79 on October 13, 2015, at his home. Terry was born on February 7, 1936, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Herbert and Louise Ryan. For over 35 years Terry was the owner of Ryan Roofing. He loved the outdoors, hiking and canoeing. He was an Ohio State fan, and an avid Republic who loved to give you his opinion on the matter. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, walking his dog and reading books. Terry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Martha Jean Ryan; sons Charles (Gloria) Ryan, Daniel (Misty) Ryan and Thomas Ryan; 4 grandchildren, Charles (Nicole) Ryan, Nicholas Ryan, Bailey Ryan and Nash Ryan; and 2 great grandchildren and numerous other close relatives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Steven Ryan; his brothers, Don Ryan and Bill Ryan; and his sisters, Pat Paul, Louise Coyle and Jean Lyons. A memorial gathering will take place on October 24th from 1:00 - 5:00 at the Knights of Columbus in Zanesville. Family and friends are welcome to attend and help celebrate his life.
