Terry R. Clark

Terry R. Clark, age 59, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly in Michigan at a hunting dog trial on Sunday, July 22, 2018. He was born May 2, 1959, in Zanesville, a son of Dorothy Merriam Clark and the late Richard Clark. He was a graduate of Zanesville High School, attended Ohio University, Zanesville and was a member of First Christian Church. He had just retired from Kroger after 41 years of employment. He was an avid hunter of ducks and turkey and loved his two Labrador Retrievers Fly and Dakota. He coached baseball at West Muskingum, Tri-Valley, Zanesville and John Glenn and loved developing baseball players at the high school level. He also coached two Babe Ruth All-Star Teams that made it to the World Series. Terry recently was inducted into the 2018 class of The Muskingum Valley Old Timers Association Hall of Fame. He was a committee member of the Morgan County Ducks Unlimited Chapter and got great pleasure hunting all over the country with all of his great hunting buddies. He enjoyed traveling and scuba diving. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of twenty nine years, Valencia (Dick) Clark; a son, Ryan Clark and grandson, Alexander of Colorado; a brother Tim and Kathy Clark; nephews, Chris and Brian Clark; mother-in-law, Marilyn Dick; and brother-in-law, Trafford Dick. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, C. Trafford Dick. Friends and family may call from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2018, with Rev.
