Terry Allen Dobbins Sr., 60, of Zanesville, died at 9:52 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born May 17, 1950 in Zanesville, a son of the late Clarence and Ruth Paxton Dobbins. He worked at Pepsi Cola, Bartlett Tree Service and retired after 30 plus years of service for Burnham Corporation. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, nascar and dirt track racing. He raced his own cars, #B 11 & #B-8, for many years at local and surrounding Ohio race tracks and he worked and raced for Mike Ankrom. Surviving are his loving wife Jennifer Holman Dobbins, whom he married June 5, 2010 at their residence; two daughters, Tina (Mike Krouskoupf) Dobbins of Zanesville and Deanna (Keith) Brown of Crooksville; two sons, Terry Jr. (Danette) Dobbins of Zanesville and Blaine (Pam) Dobbins of Hopewell; ten grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessica, Allen, David, Amanda, Wendy, Michael, Delbert, Keeley and Faith; a great granddaughter, Addyson; seven sisters, Phyllis Tom, Nancy (Dave) Carter of Adamsville, Karen (Robert Shook), Kathy Wriston and Martha (Joe) Simon, all of Zanesville, Mary (Richard) Smith of Marietta and Lisa Pitcock of New Concord; five brothers, Dave (Linda) Sanders, Richard (Judy) Sanders, and Larry Guest all of Zanesville, Tim Paxton of Columbus and Eddie (Margie) Dobbins of Toledo; a cousin, Jerry McCoy of Reynoldsburg; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Corinna and David Holman; special friends, Bob Swingle, Keith Fulton, Mike Ankrom and Terry Krouskoupf; a special "little" friend, Parley Capps; and all whom participated in his care. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Lloyd Paxton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary Lou and Harold Higgins; an adopted son, Paul Dobbins; a granddaughter, Desiree Leslie; an infant brother, Clarence Dobbins; and two brothers, George and Jim Paxton. No calling hours will be observed. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Trinity Full Gospel Church, 535 Munson Ave., Zanesville.
