Terry Keith Stephens, 70 years old, passed peacefully, Monday, August 6, 2018 at his boyhood home where he was born and raised. He was born the youngest on December 17, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of the late Walter S. Stephens and Helen L. Dantz Stephens of South Zanesville. Terry retired from Ohio Machinery after forty five years of service. He started at seventeen and never left. He was a member of South Zanesville United Methodist Church, life member of VFW Post 1058, American Legion Post 29, and AMVETS Post 0051 in Thornville Ohio. He served proudly in the U.S. Army and was involved in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Colborn Stephens of the home; Stacey Stephens, Kenley Body of Zanesville, and Ryan and Hilarie Stephens of Blacklick; grandchildren, Sean Franklin, Sia Franklin, Kenley Jr. and Kavon Body, and Peyton, Grady and Madelyn Stephens; great-grandchildren, Kyiah Franklin, Raniyah and Robt Horton Jr., and Keelyn Body; two brothers Franklin and Young Stephens of Nevarre FL; a sister, Linda and Jon Woodward, of Summerville SC; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Stephens; and beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Stephens. A Cremation-With-Care has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at South Zanesville United Methodist Church, 58 East Main Street, South Zanesville, Ohio with Pastor Dee Rader officiating. There will be a reception for all guests immediately following the service at the VFW, 1318 Putnam Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio.
