Thelma V. Ullom, 84, of Zanesville, Ohio, went to be with her sweetheart on Valentines Day, Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 11:45 am at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital emergency room. She was born March 30, 1921 in Rutland, Ohio the daughter of the late Haybron and Linnie Wilson Holdcroft. Mrs. Ullom was a former cashier for the Big Bear and Hallmark Companies. Thelma was a member of the First Christian Church, the Zane Chapter of American Business Women, the Tots to Teens CCL Group and the Red Hat Society at the Clay House. Surviving are two daughters, Alleda (Carl) Moore of Port St. Licia Fl., and Diana Yerian of Zanesville, six grandchildren, Stacey Adams, Michael (Julie) Eggiman, Troy Yerian, Deidra (David) Allen, Jason Yerian and Carry Yerian, thirteen great grandchildren and one niece and one nephew. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sanford Ullom and one brother, Eugene Holdcroft. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2006 with the Rev. Mark Ballmer officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
