Thomas W. Hudson, Sr. 66, of New Concord, went to be with the Lord, August 6, 2021. He was born October 9, 1954, a son of the late Truman and Edith (Schimmel) Hudson. Tom attended Cambridge High School. After 40 plus years of being a dedicated worker for Ohio Bridge he retired. He was a certified gunsmith, he enjoyed working on and repairing guns. He even made his own gun. Tom enjoyed target practicing and skeet shooting, and would often hold skeet shooting meets. He loved being outdoors, fishing, and gardening were a few of his favorite past times. Tom also enjoyed cooking and swapping recipes with his family members. He enjoyed wood working and was a hands on type of person. Tom was always willing to lend a hand if needed. Tom loved the family get togethers, spending time with his loved ones. His bake beans were a favorite of everyone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life and the mother of his children, Cynthia Marlene (Jones) Hudson.
Tom leaves behind, his wife, Kay (Boyle) Hudson a daughter, Tammy (Greg) King; four sons, Tim (Sonya) Hudson, George (Tracie) Hudson, Bobby ( Stephanie) Hudson and Tommy (Missy) Hudson; grandchildren, Cassara Stage, Nicholas Hudson, George Marshall, MJ Roberts and Zachary King; great granddaughter, Lindsay Marshall; two sisters, Marge (Ron) Van Fleet and Patricia (Carl) Hiles; two brothers, John (Dyanne) Hudson and Mark Hudson; a special friend of the family that he considered a son, Tim (Jen) Ferguson; and his faithful four legged friend, his dog Bo Bo.
No services will be observed at this time. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
