Thomas E. Mcdermott

Thomas E. McDermott, 63, of Marion, died at 12:55 P.M. on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Marion General Hospital. He was born August 22, 1950, in Stockport, OH, a son of the late Raymond and Gainel M. Parry Rogers. He had worked for the Roekel Co. and for Johnston Supply in Marion. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Susan Winslow McDermott, whom he married July 23, 1993; a son Mark (Angela) McDermott of Adamsville; a daughter Mandy (James) Martin of Newark; four grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 7, 2014. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
