Timothy Ray Sparks

Timothy Ray Sparks, 62, of Cumberland, died at 6:44 A.M. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at home. He was born June 4, 1962, in Plain City, a son of the late Wanda (Ford) Jarvis. Tim was a craftsman and the proud owner and operator of Tim Sparks Construction and eventually found a home working for T&M Roofing. He was a kind, honest, loyal, and fair man. He was a rock to his family and truly one of a kind. When Tim wasn’t working he loved fishing and riding motorcycles. He was a “fixer”, he put others before himself and was devoted to his family. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Mandie Lee (Hale) Sparks, whom he married in March of 2024; his children, Anthony (Ashley) Sparks, Christopher (Veronica) Sparks, Kyle Sparks, Cara Santangelo, James Santangelo, Kash Stevens, Melissa Pace; numerous grandchildren that lovingly referred to him as “PapPap”; his siblings, Rodney (Sheri) Sparks, Glenn Doty, Kay Baumgardner, Tara (Gail) Siders; his former wife, Tina McGuire; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE ZANESVILLE.
