Travis Eugene Roush

Travis "TR" Eugene Roush, 42, of Zanesville, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. He was born August 1, 1970, in Zanesville, the son of the late Milton O. Roush and Beverly K. Fields Roush of Zanesville. Travis, known by his friends as "TR", graduated from Maysville High School in the class of '89. He worked for Jarrett Construction and attended Trinity Full Gospel. He was an avid softball player, bowler and golfer, and he was the coach of his daughter's softball team. Travis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. All who knew TR have a story or two to tell. His laugh and his smile will be greatly missed. #4. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Jacala Polk Roush, whom he married May 2, 2007; a daughter Ashley Roush of Zanesville; two step-daughters, Brooke Dailey and Harley Miller, both of Zanesville; a step-son Michael Dailey of Zanesville; a grandson Sage Dailey of Zanesville; two sisters, Misty (Troy Peairs) Roush and Jill Rush, both of Zanesville; six nieces and nephews, Levi Peairs, Brittany Thompson, Tori Peairs, Mya Rush, Trevin Rush, and Mayci Rush; a great nephew Qwashaun Roush; maternal grandmother Pearl Fields of Zanesville; father-in-law Jim (Diana) Polk of Zanesville; mother-in-law Charlotte Polk of Zanesville; and many close friends and relatives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Josie Roush; sister Lisa K. Roush; maternal grandfather Frank Fields; paternal grandfather Oscar Roush; paternal grandmother Mary Rumfield; and good friend Todd Brock. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 10, 2012, with Pastor Terry Rowland officiating. Burial will follow at William's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Century National Bank to help defer funeral costs.
