Valerie Jean Kinsey

Valerie Jean Kinsey, 55, of Frazeysburg, entered the presence of her Savior after battling cancer for 10 years, on September 14, 2023. She was born August 20, 1968, in Zanesville, to Albert “Bert” and Jean Kinsey.

Valerie graduated John Marshall High School of Glen Dale, WV, in 1986, and from Cedarville College of Cedarville, OH, in 1990. She taught elementary students in Christian schools in Florida and Ohio and long distance learning in Zanesville.

She is survived by her parents, brothers Vance (Kip) of VA, Vernon (Jennifer) of FL, and Von (Carol) Kinsey of OH; nieces and nephews Jennifer (Drew) Brewer, Ryan and Seth Kinsey; McKayla (Ben) Hill and Jameson (Bailey) Kinsey; Autumn and Ethan Blanton, and Breanna Kinsey. She also had 4 great nephews and a special friend, Glen Romans.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Dresden on December 28, 2023, 11:00 AM with Pastor of Maranatha Bible Church, Chris Brown Officiating.

All local arrangements have been entrusted to BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
