Vera R. Hoback

Vera Racine Hoback, 90, of Glendale, Arizona, formerly a resident of Zanesville for 76 years, died Sunday, September 13, 2009. She was born January 22, 1919, in Morgan County, Ohio. She was a real estate broker and a former member of the Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Lynn Hoback; a daughter, Lori Miller; and four grandsons, Christopher, Casey, Kevin and William. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gerald Hoback. No calling hours will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Rev. Clarence M. Dinnen officiating.
