Vickie L. Ruckman

Vickie Matz Ruckman, 47, of Zanesville, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2006 at 11:53 p.m. at her residence after a one year illness. She was born September 30, 1958 in Zanesville, a daughter of Robert F. Matz and the late Jean Kopittke Berry. She was a Methodist by faith and graduated from Zanesville High School. Vickie enjoyed tending to her garden, baking Christmas cookies for her family and neighbors and walking her dog, Josie. Surviving are her father Robert ( Jody) Matz of Palm Harbor, FL.; a sister, Connie Matz Tolliver of Zanesville, three brothers, Michael Matz of Zanesville, Phillip (Shuko) Matz of Tokyo, Japan and Dana (Keely) Matz of Zanesville; she leaves a loving companion, Danny H. Norris of the home, three nephews, five nieces and two great nieces and a special caregiver, Ruthie Batchelder of Zanesville. She was loved and will be missed by many. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. A caring cremation will follow.
