Violet M. "Vi" Kovaleski

Violet M. Vi Kovaleski, 91, of Zanesville formerly of Nashport, died at 1:50 A.M. Saturday January 20, 2018 at the Oaks of Northpointe, Zanesville. She was born May 27, 1926 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Jesse and Mable Baldwin Dorsey. She worked at Mosiac Tile and Old Roseville Pottery. She was a member of the Muskingum Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School Class of 1944. She spent her time sewing and visiting her friends in the rest home and helping them. Surviving are two sons, Terry L. and Richard A. (Diana Shinn); four grandchildren, Shawna, Mallary, Amanda and TJ; eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Forest L. (Kovy) Kovaleski; two sisters, Betty and Bernice; a daughter in law, Chris Kovaleski. Friends may call one hour prior to service Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Muskingum Presbyterian Church, 4545 Gorsuch Rd, Nashport, OH 43830 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M with Pastor Donna Edsall officiating. Violet will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Muskingum Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Nashport.
