Viora M. Morris

Viora M. “MeMe” Morris, 89, of Zanesville, died at 6:59 A.M. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville. She was born May 25, 1929 in Chandlersville, a daughter of the late Issac Earl and Lois Dye Williams. She was a member of Brighton Presbyterian Church, had worked for Bloomer Candy. Viora loved to travel, spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and especially enjoyed family vacations with her family. She was a member of Olive Branch  Chapter 251 at Duncan Falls.

She is survived by, three daughters, Deborah (Steve) Dickerson, Rebecca (Randy) Howard, and Beth Dawe; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren with one on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Raymond C. Morris, who died May 20, 2017; by a daughter, Lisa Marie Summers; a brother, Loren Earl Williams and a son-in-law, Albert G. Dawe.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. with Eastern Star services at 5:45 PM on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 with Rev. Suellen Skinner officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Ray at Chandlersville Cemetery, Chandlersville.
