Virginia E. Wolfe -Dorsey Bright, 86, of Zanesville, died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at her home. She was born January 21, 1921 in Niles, Ohio a daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Ward Wolfe. She was a co-owner of Bright Insurance Adjusting of Zanesville for 43 years, was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Virginia was a member of the Insurance Women's of Zanesville and was an avid reader, gardener and loved animals. Surviving are three daughters, Sandra (Larry) Warstler of Grande Island, Florida, Jill (Dick) Johnson of Kennewick, Washington and Cheryl ( Dick) Kowalski of Zanesville; eleven grandchildren, Dyanne (Mark) Nusser, Darcy Warstler, Chauncey (Dottie) Warstler, Calico (Wayne) Johnson, Tamara Reader, Trent (Renae) Johnson, Troy (Nikki) Johnson, Jamie (Darrell) Crouteau, Christopher ( Kathy) Kowalski, Tim (Trish) Kowalski and Andy (Jenee) Kowalski, many great grandchildren and her loving dog, Whimsey. She was preceded in death by her loving foster parents, who raised her, Homer and Myrtle Dorsey of Findlay, Ohio, her husband of 61 years, Delbert W. Bright, who died October 9, 2000, and a great granddaughter, Lacey Johnson. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Bright Cemetery, Findlay, Ohio with celebrant Russell M. Bolin officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio or to the charity of one's choice.
