Virginia L. "Jenny" Emerick

Virginia L. “Jenny” Emerick, 91, of Zanesville, died at 6:20 P.M. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville. She was born February 26, 1931, a daughter of the late Foster and Margaret Gastin Emerick. She was a finish worker and driver for Carskadden Company, before retiring after 33 years and was a member of Brighton Presbyterian Church, serving as a trustee and singing in the choir.

She is survived by five sisters, Letha Hoadley of Nashport, Bonnie Butler of Minnesota, Sharron Painter of Newark and Penny (Jerry) Williams of Zanesville; many nieces, nephews and greats.

In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Emerick, Patty Emerick, and Shirley Huber.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Brighton Presbyterian Church, 771 Lexington Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701 with Rev. Darla Revenaugh officiating. She will be laid to rest at New Straitsville Cemetery, New Straitsville.
