Virginia F. Miller, 93, of Zanesville, died at midnight, Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Genesis Extended Care & Rehab Center. She was born December 20, 1915, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late George E. and Dollie G. Gale Davis. She graduated from Zanesville High School, was a volunteer at Bethesda Hospital from 1969 to 1997, and was a lifetime member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church, where she received her 50 year pin. Surviving are two sons, Scott A. (Roxanne) Miller of Zanesville and George E. Miller of Columbus; and a daughter, Patricia Fauley of Newberg, Oregon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Miller, who died in 1987; a son, Howard (Bud) Miller, who died in November 1968; and a brother, Donald G. Davis. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2009 at the funeral home with Dr. L. Steven Fewell officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
