Virginia L. Himmelspach, 85, of Zanesville, died at 6:35 P.M. on Monday, December 10, 2012, at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born October 28, 1927, in Columbus, to the late Samuel and Freda Cole McCelland. Virginia was an operator at United Technology and formerly resided in Athens, OH, where she had lived since she was seventeen years old. Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Sue Devall of Zanesville, Sandy (Bob) Williams of Zanesville and Karen Moore of Zanesville; a brother Leroy (Jane) McCelland of Lancaster; thirteen grandchildren, Tana, Cyanne, Norma Lynn, Shane, John, Chad, Wayne, Mike, Billie, Shanda, Peggy, Jackie, and Shauna; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; a special great grandson Cody George; and life-long best friend Hazel Cornell of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Bo Larrison; second husband Fred Himmelspach; two daughters, Cheryl Robinson and Donna Abbot; a son Gary Dunfee; a grandson Yancey Larrison; six sisters, Viola Lester, Marjorie Semour, Faith McCelland, Dorothy Roden, Kay Nollen, and Patty Blair; three brothers, Gene McCelland, Samuel McCelland, and Russell McCelland; and a son-in-law Jeffery Moore. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. to the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, with Evangelist Jack Harris officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
