Virginia E. (Miller) Kessler

May 30, 1926 — February 19, 2012

The daughters of Virginia Elizabeth (Ginny) Kessler announce, that as of 1:10 AM, February19, 2012, her 5 year battle with dementia has ended and she is in the presence of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. She was born on May 30, 1926 and was 85 years old. She is survived by her four loving daughters; Susie (Lee) Higgins of Ky., Sandy (Bernie) Gibson and Cindy (Chuck) McCloud, both of Zanesville and Connie (Mark) Micheli of Cleveland. She will be deeply missed by her 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two brothers; Howard Miller of Zanesville and Richard Miller of Fla. as well as two sisters; Wilma Fulton and Carol Garrett also of Fla. She was preceded in death by Jim, the love of her life for 64 years, as well as her parents, Clarence and Sylvina (Nau) Miller and an infant brother, Jimmy. Ginny enjoyed, gardening, bowling, golf, traveling and "porch time" with family and friends. She was a member of Cornerstone Church in Duncan Falls, where she sang in the choir. She was considered a prayer warrior by all who knew her. Friends and family may call from Noon till time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Jim, at Williams Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
