Virginia M. Muse, 81, of Zanesville, died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Genesis Bethesda hospital emergency room. She was born April 11, 1925, in Gratiot, a daughter of the late Harry V. and Hazel B. Loughman Irvin. She retired after 25 years as a secretary with The Helen Purcell Home. She was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church, Eastern Star #485 and Junior Bethesda Hospital League. She is survived by her husband, Ralph L. Muse, of the home; two sons, Douglas I. (Jeanette) Muse of Delaware, Oh. and Steven A. Muse of Camden, NC.; a brother, Charles (Arlene) Irvin of Zanesville and four grandchildren, Ashley Marie (Noah) Hollenbaugh and Bradley Scott Muse, all of Delaware, Oh., Brooks Alan Muse serving in the United States Marine Corps in California and Ross Andrew Muse of Camden, NC. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a..m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 Maple Avenue, Zanesville with the Dr. Dennis Baker and Rev. Doris Flynn officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
