Virginia J. Stitt

Virginia J. Stitt, 84, of Zanesville, died at 11:37 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born May 2, 1920 in Glenford Ohio the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Elizabeth Kissick Boyer. Mrs.Stitt was a longtime member of the Coburn United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Robert Joe (Sandy) Stitt and Carl Jeffrey (Linda) Stitt, both of Zanesville, four grandchildren, Timothy (Becky) Stitt, Michael Stitt, Scott (Katie) Stitt, and Marc (Erin) Stitt.; seven great grandchildren, Ashley, Aubrianna,Michaela, Jerimiah, Jairon, Rachael, and Julia Stitt, several nieces,nephews, and cousins, including a special niece, Ruth Marlene Morgan, sisters in-law, Inez Boyer of Madison Ohio, and Sue Boyer of Grove City Ohio. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Stitt, who died June 21, 1995 two sisters, Leora Tumblin and Mary Elizabeth Atwell and two brothers, Kenneth Boyer and Robert " Bob " Boyer. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville Ohio.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004 at the funeral home with Rev. Doris Flynn officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care or to the Coburn United Methodist Church
