Vivian R. (Gebhart) Harrier

Vivian R. Harrier, 88, of Zanesville, died at 3:07 P.M. on Monday, February 22, 2016, at her home. She was born December 5, 1927, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Raymond and Garnet Guard Gebhart. She had worked as an assembler for Essex Wire, enjoyed crocheting, was an avid weekly bingo player, and was a member of Finley United Methodist Church and 30 year member of TOPS. She is survived by her daughter, Deena (John) Alford of Zanesville; a son David Michael "Mike" Harrier of Zanesville; seven grandchildren, Johnny (Missy) Alford, Troy (Keith) Alford, Zach (Tiffany) Fountain, Kagnie (Jerry) Andersen, Kylie (Donovan Lent) Fountain, Brian (Stephanie) Harrier and Ashley (Zack) Harrier; eight great grandchildren, Danny (Tiffany), Brittany (Lee), Little Johnny (Abbey), Kendra, Kyndall, Morganne, Clair and Ben; a step-sister Delores (Don) Ayres of Zanesville; and a son-in-law Marty Fountain of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Harrier, who died January 25, 1989; her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Fountain; three brothers, Ralph, Allen and Vincent Gebhart; a half-sister Marilyn Mortimer; and a half-brother Richard "Gebby" Gebhart. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 26, 2016, with Rev. Charles Norris officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Benjamin at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
