Vonda K. Covert

VONDA K. COVERT, age 83, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed into the presence of the Lord at 10:39 am, Tuesday, June 1, 2004. She was surrounded by her beloved family. Mrs. Covert was born January 3, 1921 in Apex Ohio the daughter of the late William and Myrtle Monk Taylor. She was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church, an avid quilter, enjoyed crocheting and being in her flower garden. Vonda was the proud and gracious mother of six children, daughters, Barbara Payton of Cincinnati, Gloria (Will) Harris of Seminole FL., Donna ( Robert ) Heilman of Columbus, Christy ( Steve ) Cannon of Zanesville, Joe ( Neecy ) Covert of Asheville, NC., fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Campbell in January of 2004 and a sister Delphia Best. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. till service time Friday, June 4, 2004 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Joe Covert officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.
