Walter David Cole

Walter David "Dave" Cole, 82, of Zanesville, died at 11:30 P.M. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the Adams Lane Care Center. He was born October 5, 1932, in Marengo, OH, a son of the late Clarence N. and Margaret Cole. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Surviving are a son David (Cindy) Cole of Heath; six grandchildren, Carrie Schilling of Zanesville, Roni (Brent) Kuhn of Zanesville, Keli (Drew) Beckert of Zanesville, Halley Cole of Zanesville, Jenni (Ives) Toure of New Albany, and Raymond (Cierra) Kinser of Heath; several great grandchildren; a special niece Tina Marie Wood; a special great nephew Keith Wood; and two sisters, Betty Todd of Zanesville and Jeannine Smith of Zanesville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Cole, who died in 2007; a grandson Derek A. Cole; three brothers, Clarence, Larry, and Alban Cole; and a sister Jo Ann Wood. No calling hours will be observed. He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville, at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
