Walter D. Davis

Walter D Davis 83 of Cambridge passed away in his sleep after a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Bertha and Arthur Davis of Cambridge, and two sisters Barbara and Marnella. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Betty. He also leaves behind a daughter Pamela Davis and granddaughter Jenna Davis-Smith of Cambridge. Also a son, Curtis Davis of Columbus. Walter retired from The Daily Jeffersonian in 2001 after 38 years of service. He is a veteran of The United States Navy. He was very much involved with the administration of The Cambridge Moose Lodge 631, and also as a social member for over 40 years. Walter also loved his years as a Cambridge Little League Coach in the 70's and 80's. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services. Cremation will take place at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home in Zanesville
