Walter C. Roush, 73, of Zanesville, died at 8:20 A.M. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at his home. He was born March 3, 1942, in Zanesville, a son of the late Thomas and Beulah Davis Roush. He was a Vietnam Era Veteran of the United States Air Force, had worked for the City of Zanesville in the sewer department, for Roseville Pottery, and had been a self-employed vendor at various flea markets. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Linda K. Fogle Roush, whom he married May 29, 1965; three sons, Mark (Elizabeth) Roush of Cincinnati, Eric (Kathy) Roush of Columbus, and David (Jolene) Roush of Zanesville; five grandsons, Mark Jacob, Zackery, Daniel, Austin and Owen; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Fred, and Jim Roush; and two sisters, Eileen Roush and Dorothy Headley. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 3, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. No funeral service will be observed. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville, with full military honors being presented by the United States Air Force in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058.
