Wendell C. Harrop

Wendell C. "Buck" Harrop, 91, of Zanesville died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2005 at Genesis Extended Care and Rehab Center. He was born January 25, 1914 in Roseville a son of the late Clarence H. & Lillian May Swingle Harrop. He was the former service manager at Swingle Motor Co. And he owned and operated Harrop Auto Service for 22 years from 1952-1974. He was a member of Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church since 1933. He is survived by several cousins and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred Snider Harrop, whom he marreid June 25, 1938 and who died July 10, 2003. Friends may call from noon till 12:45 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2005 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Graveside services will take place at Zanesville Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m Monday with Rev. Clarence Dinnen officiating.
